Greetings, readers! We bring you the Wesley Church Winter Wedding of Mark and Christy in Urbana, IL! Although the temperatures for this wedding weren't quite as blistery as the weather wrought by our recent polar vortex, there was still a chill in the air. For our clients, however, this felt like spring time. They had recently flown in from Alaska, fleeing from temperatures of 40 below. Yikes! Mark, Christy, and their young son, Kenny, are certainly no strangers to the cold. But dont empathize too muchtheyll be moving to Texas soon!
The girls were all laughter while preparing for Christys big day! I quickly discovered that she had a brilliant, contagious smile. She let her country girl shine with some cowgirl boots and a beautiful, lacy dress from Michelles Bridal, paired with a bouquet of electric blue flowers and white roses.
After Mark and Christys romantic first look, we braved the cold to photograph our couple and captured some gorgeous moments! The early sunset was playing into our favor and we were awarded with some beautiful light to work with. The winter theme continued into the reception at the Laborers Union with a Christmas tree, festive ornaments, and a snowflake covered wedding cake.
Congratulations, Mark and Christy!
